There will always be people out there who want to hurt you, and to make you feel like you are less than you are. They may write you, out of the blue one day, and tell you that you are nothing but a Filipina single mother living in a cruel Western world, and that you are destined to be abandoned and left alone. The words may sting you momentarily, but you pick yourself up, continue to live your life, and you exact your revenge by living happily without them.
You do manage to find good quotes Nova. I'm sorry to hear you had to bear the sting of cruel words, but it does happen in life. In the meantime, you did find the right words to keep you going forward. :)
